Our assemblies are a time when we come together to reflect upon important things that affect our lives inside and outside school and that also affect the lives of other people all around the world. They are carefully planned to help us to develop into well rounded people who understand our place in the world and our rights and responsibilities within it.
Each week we have a theme for our assemblies, which often links to important awareness days and/or events. As a Respecting Rights School, we always ensure that children understand how our theme links to their rights and the rights of other children around the world. Every Friday we hold a celebration assembly during which our hard work, resilience and effort are celebrated with Parents and Carers who are always welcome. Sometimes we hold additional special assemblies to commemorate or celebrate special events or occasions such as Remembrance Day.
